vibe: drinking vietnamese iced coffee, just came back from eating dinner (braised pork and rice and soup dumplings), nick is changing guitar string that he broke

another week i did nothing!!! i'm so sorry!!!!!!!!! sometimes life is like this i guess. i swear i'll do something, eventually. like this next week i should be doing something! and then the things kind of keep going.

justin is back from his trip to vietnam which he told me about and its certainly a memory!! i tried to convince him to go to utah with us but i realized le sserafim concert is the same time. he has an extra ticket for aespa and i'm trying to convince him to just sell it and i'll get a 100s or 200s seat because i do not need the second row at an aespa concert. if i get floor i will never be able to have "bad" seats again. anyways, justin stopped by japan for like 36 hours and hung out with misaki. they called me and i could tell they were in shin-okubo. he said that misaki was super into some watermelon drink that they got and i knew which spot he was talking about because she tried to get it when i was there but they were out for the day lol. shin-okubo is fun. i need to go back. but justin gave me all the stuff that misaki gets for me. nice to have a lil present.

the weather was perfect this past week. after work we went to rachels to hang out and we brought bbq. tried to put them on to chiikawa and justin and i were saying chiikawa is so popular. they didn't get it... its fine... i felt insane because they would ask what its about and i'm like "its hard to explain" if you get it, you get it. its nice to hang out with everyone though... wish i had friends... i'm being dramatic.

anyways!! not much else has happened. i got two pairs of hiking sandals and they both dont fit. so what if i just buy cute new trail runners that i dont need? flights are booked for utah, and not much else!! its in a month... i should probably do that... like a rental car and a few hotels.

i've been looking at sooo much yarn lately. because its always easier to just buy something than make anything... but i did say i was gonna hand make gifts so i guess i should start. but yarn determines the project right?? am i crazy? i saw some rainbow trout looking yarn... i love it but i need to know what i wanna knit with it so i can buy enough.. and if i run out? oof. its also peak stationery preview season which is also tempting. i dont need to buy anything... but what if i go to the sf pen show next week?

can you tell that i'm trying to not just yap about a bunch? i have a lot of weird thoughts i wanna talk about but sometimes i feel like i need to have a concrete idea before i subject anyone to whatever i'm rambling about.

bye!! see you next week
