weeknotes 32.31

hi, my allergies are killing me. my eyes hurt, my sinuses hurt, my teeth hurt, my head also hurts but i dont think thats allergies. i'm fighting the drowsiness. its been hard to do anything today. its also 92 degrees today, which is miserable.

drinking: pocari sweat. i dont think i've sweat this much to warrant it, but its a nice lil treat. listening to new luna li (and old luna li)

gas is $6.30 a gallon and nick broke two strings this week. he bought a tenor sax, could i add breaking reeds to this? yes.

i also told him to buy a 2 and he bought a 2.5... anyways, very fun to play tenor sax again. intonation is garbage though. oops my bad, dont tell my high school band director.

this week was actually bad for loads of reasons i dont feel like dwelling on!! nothing bad, but sometimes there are weeks in your life where a lot happens and that was all. i need to relax, but i actually have a lot of things next week. and yeah, if i type things i will sound like im complaining. mothers day was nice though. my mom watched marty supreme and her commentary was funny. also a better watch 2nd time around.

i joined a book club. and it was sort of funny to see someone i know very well in real life in the discord even though it was through an online friend. the world is small sometimes. comfortingly small. and i wasnt expecting to read like another 150 pages this month. our first meeting i will actually be in vegas so i wont be able to attend in real time. but joining a group and needing to "introduce" myself makes me cringe. why cant i just exist on the internet instead?

i also finished on the calculation of volume 4. with every new book in this series the more i Think, which is what i have been loving about this series. it builds upon itself. after visiting denmark i kind of understand the scandinavian urge to write a philosophical septology. i cant even talk about this because nathan i think is still reading book 4... but i cant wait for book 5, and i'm actually quite impressed that i haven't been able to really sense any difference in writing despite there being multiple translators in this series.

anywaysss its past midnight... i really don't have anything else to say!!
