weeknotes 32.25

i know i'm typing this on my blog that has no serif font but i miss serifs. and i should really count and see how many of my weeknotes have been late because i think im doing quite bad. i love data collection and analysis. in my defense i was Out yesterday. and then i was sleeping all day and had to do boring lifekeeping stuff like getting an oil change, grocery shopping and meal/ingredient prepping.

vibe: i am blogging from my Reading Spot. which is actually the spot i used to play my gameboy advance because it was one of the few spots in the house where you could laydown and get sunlight so we would all fight over it. nick is trying to convince me the new bass he bought looks better without a pick guard (it doesnt). drinking a lil cup of sprite.

anyways!! crazy how one day late on weeknotes makes me forget everything i've done in the past week. but life is kind of bad!!!!! i paid $5.81 for a gallon of gas and that was the cheap option. this is like 90% due to financial instability but i need to relax. i think the number that would make me not feel poor is actually always going to shift so i'm aware its mental.

i saw my first movie of the year :) it was project hail mary. i also wanted to see it because i read the book in 2022 so maybe i dont really remember as much as other people but omg it was so beautiful to see on 70mm. the movie felt soo fast. i have no concept of how big the book is because i read it on my kobo but i remember a lottt more earth scenes, and fuel being a huge focus of the book. fuel not just as in astrophage but also relating to consumption, both on earth, and the hail mary. it was already a long ass movie so i understand things need to get cut and if it was a 2 part movie i prob wouldnt have watched it out of pure laziness. but as an adaptation i think its really good!! who knows since i dont watch movies. but rocky was soooo endearing. its also fun to see movies in a packed theater and hear people react.

did i do anything else this past week worth mentioning? i cant remember. and its midnight i need to get up in 3 and a half hours for work... i should just post this and sleep.
