i landed 8 pm last night. was out by 8:30 and took the skyliner to nippori. i was very tired and felt gross from traveling. ate a famichiki and kombu onigiri for dinner. ill allow this to be my 1 singular conbini dinner. i did eat hotel breakfast and dropped off my suitcase at a love hotel until i come back to tokyo since i dont wanna carry around a bunch of american snacks for misaki, or a suitcase tbh. i love to one bag but i love to buy stuff in japan ¥2700 only for 4 days which is worth to me. first time being in a love hotel. honestly seemed kind of nice lol
and for some reason i decided to go on the yamanote line during rush hour. insane work.

i have no real plans for this portion of the trip ill be in sendai. depends on my energy. i really just fuck up vacations dont i? some people will ask me about japan and i have no answers for whether or not the really popular things are fun. like people should do whatever the want right?? i just want to do nothing worth sharing. i eaves dropped on some people on the plane and they were recommending someone a bunch of things to do since it was his first time but their second. like even if im not on the tourist “go here when youre in tokyo!!!” algorithm but i know a tiktok spot when i see it. and theres nothing wrong with doing touristy things. but i feel like i lack some authority in recommending things to random people. like i think getting off the in sendai and stopping when i feel like it would be hard to explain why i would recommend a place. i think this is a something i could expand on at a later time.
anyways,,, last week was a week.
nick justin and i saw 100 meters. nathan spoiled the end for me. i liked the rotoscoping about half the time. the times it was additive. other times it was a bit much but i love the commitment to a bit.
work dragged on because i didnt want to be there. my pto actually isnt approved and my boss just 👍 my text saying i put in my request a few weeks ago and its still not approved. so lets see if i have a job when i get back.
this train is super hot and im tired. im gonna get off soon and find a snack before i head to ?? yamadera? naruko? matsushima? who knows.
