weeknotes 32.18
howdy yall
i'm still sick. and im probably more sick than i was before? which is pretty unfair. i felt great on thursday and then it just went downhill for no real reason. i did sleep in until 3 pm today, which was great and needed. i should count how many times i've mentioned being sick in weeknotes because i'm convinced i'm spending my whole year just being sick.
drinking: sprite
eating: egg flower soup. i love egg flower soup. i also dont want vegetables in it. i want just egg and green onion. i hate when restaurants put peas and carrots or mushrooms in it. i hate peas all the time. but egg flower soup should just be goop and egg... dont add vegetables. green onions are a garnish. am i making sense?
nick is washing all the bedding while i blog because if i do laundry, blog, and put my clothes away it will be a successful day.
anyways i went to la for basically 30 hours. and i took basically no pictures. la is kind of an ugly city i've realized, like theres pockets of nice areas but its not very photogenic as far as cities can be. i criticize san francisco for a bunch of things but its a beautiful city... i may be watching someone defecate in the street, but its in front of a beautiful building. you know? although dingbats are very la to me and i think those are kind of vibey. but la was la. its a very charmless city and it fails to move me. but building a city around cars does that!! i'm also not a city person and thats probably a bigger reason i don't vibe in la.
julieta came to la for work, and like a crazy person i drove to la to see her. thats why i went. its also very funny because every canadian ever complains about the lack of street lights lol. and in canada i'm not really thinking "wow its sooo bright" but i guess its more jarring the other way.

but in my 10 hrs of driving to and from la i listened to a lot of things mostly going to note joyce manors newest album, okame debut album which is made up of the twins from CHAI who i really loved and missed and then a bunch of things i'm actually just too low energy to link.
i'm actually just tired. i thought i was gonna blog more,,, but the couch is comfy and i feel like taking a nap.
