guess what!!! i actually did something fun this week to share!! life is worth living again!! yippie!! the post is late because im tired. and i finally have 2 days off yay
here is the vibe for this week:
drinking: hot water and coffee. hot water for cramps and i love to double fist bevvies
eating: my 4th tangerine for the day
okay, yes i saw the BTS tour. i love that multiple people in my life are telling me within 2hrs of it being posted. i'm ticketing for stanford, vegas, and then texas in that order of preference. stanford will require no travel. although allegiant is such a nice stadium that maybe i'll just go to vegas as my first choice. and when we need to ticket later this week, and if someone gets a ticket to one of these locations please sell to me for face value, thanks!!! texas,, because i haven't mentioned it but my company is moving to texas so i'll probably be out of a job in 2027?? i'm still processing. gotta vibe check dallas, and i say that as a life long dallas cowboys (...yeah i know. theres always next year) fan. i'm actually putting no energy into that because its unclear the time frame, and if i will move. but i'm not relocating for this job long term. california is too good. all my family is here. i just need to see what i'm choosing unemployment over.
justin and i hung out and on tuesday and went to vons. i didnt realize his friend got me a VIP soundcheck ticket for twice. oops. i've met her two or three times. life is wonderful. vons is also wonderful.
i received my books from strangers press i bought the 4 sets that are in stock. theyre small chapbooks so lately with my work schedule i do think i can commit to like 40-60 pages a day. also, i downloaded the fable app... i havent made the account because i fell asleep instead. but maybe ill track things there
okay most of this post is going to be about twices concert in oakland (day 2) because it is by far the most enjoyable thing i've done in a while. if you dont like twice, just stop reading and come back next week.
twice might be my favorite girl group because newjeans is currently ......... in trouble. will always regret not going to lollapalooza just to see them... all 5 of them. there were no photos and videos allowed during soundcheck. but soundcheck they sang 3 songs. VIP comes with a little goodie bag. justin bought drinks while we waited but after i finished the first one (which was $24) he said i was red and so i stopped lol.
dahyun was injured. but these white outfits were the best they had imo. they actually started giving jeongyeon cute outfits again!!!!!!
so its kind of funny when shes just sitting in the chair in the corner. but they do move her chair around.
the stage had 3 separate areas. i sat too far from the other one. 2/3 stages arent bad.
cry for me!!!!!! but because the stage was split into 3 they moved around a lot of the time. it was also easier to transition between solo stages since there was very little downtime between each member.
chaeyoung did shoot which was great because i loved lil fantasy vol1. was one of my favorite kpop releases of 2025.
they did takedown. which is understandable. since kpop demon hunters was soooo massive. but on this is for i was hoping for group stages, specifically dat ahh dat ooh... oh well. two hours goes incredibly fast for a group with 10 years of songs.
from here they went into fancy, what is love, yes or yes, dance the night away and one spark. what is love still hits so hard. insane energy for all those songs.
for encore stage they did scientist, heart shaker and the twice song.
and instead of VCRs they had their dancers and live band perform for the first two. the last break they did have a VCR at least. but very interesting not having VCRs for every break. i wonder if more groups will do this. anyways i actually have a lot to do today, bye!!
