weeknotes 32.12
christmas was christmas and when youre in your 30s with no children in your vicinity, you work sat/sun before and after xmas and christmas eve and christmas day, christmas kind of feels like a regular day. i got money, so nothing exciting to write about. although nick and i do joint gifts or matching gifts. this year it will be birks, and then i mentioned i want a book light because he uses my previous book light as a room lamp. so basically i requested a $15 book light as a gift for xmas. i'm such a simple person lmao
i worked 6 days in a row, 12 hr shifts. meaning 72 hours!!!! so these weeknotes are late because i came home and slept 12 hours.
vibe: drinking my second cup of coffee, finishing cleaning the house. things are now Clean but i need to finish by tidying up all my shit... the coffee is needed because nick basically woke up this morning, made me a cup of coffee and was like "okay lets clean" bro please let me rest for 30 minutes... please...
so i dont think anyone is capable of having a more boring weeknotes than me for this xmas week. but working 72 hours in one week does that. i actually had basically no work until sunday which is the start of work week 1, and everyone decided to ask me to do a bunch of shit. so f you are my boss, or one of my coworkers i was actually working really hard!! but if you arent then i was reading and watching youtube videos. one day i even brought my personal laptop and looked through my harddrive to organize photos...
my coworker who is salaried, and not hourly like me actually came in to work and watched chinese dramas on christmas eve and christmas day. like i HAD to be there. this guy chose to leave his family on christmas lol.
nathan mailed me some cookies!! and now i need to send him some caramels i made but they are currently in my freezer for Maximum Freshness.
god my weeknotes this week are boring. i'm so sorry. but this week between christmas and new years is always kind of like that, right? its nice that as a society we all just agreed that this week is the week to do nothing.
anyways, this is already late i'm going to give up trying to add more lol
